Christmas Hymns and Carols
The committee in charge of the arrangements for the combined choir performance in the Town Square on Christmas night, in connection with Carnival Week, are working assidu* ously to produce an excellent selection of Christmas hymns and carols. Members of church choirs in. Rotorua are invited to assist on this night in order that the Yuletide might be fittingly solemnised. Under the spreading tre.es, the effect should he striking and a large attendance of residents and visitors is expected. The Rotorua Municipal Band will support the programme by playing sacred musie. The bandmaster Mr. E. Tregilgas is co-operating with the choir leaders to | produce a very pleasing combination [ of Ghristmas music. .
