Coleman has givett; notice to move that the council rescind its previous resolution in con- j nection with the matter. The application for the permit was considered at Wednesday night's meeting of the council, when on the deciding vote of the Mayor (Mr. T. Jackson) the council refused to grant the permit under Section 34 o'f the Town Planning A'Ct. The grounds for refusal adVanced were that the application was in respect to a section outside the commercial area and lying within a general residential zone under the planning of the town. It is understood that the matter is being revived on the grounds that the council had insufficient grounds for refusing the application. „
