— By Telegraph — Copyright).

MASTERTON, Wednesday. Strong protests against what some of them describe as unfair propaganda intended to depress the value of heldover wool, were made by members of the Wairarapa Farmers' Union at a meeting to-day. The following resolution was passed: "That as there is an unreasonable disparity between the prices of the old and the new season's wool, the Dominion executive be asked to make the fullest inquiry and investigation into the problem of held-over wool."
