youth dies of poisoning from wound VERDICT AT INQUEST

MASTERTON, Tuesday. Oswald McAlpine, aged 18 years, of Martinborough, who was accidentally shot while shooting rabbits at Whatarangi on Sunday, died early this morning. At the inqnest, a verdict was returned that death was due to toxaemia caused hy a gun shot wound accidentally self-inflicted.
