Rec- Dec. 14, 8.45 p.m. I SYDNEY, Monday. Two men bound and gagged I Alexander Barry, aged 75 years, I at his home ?n Paddington, and hattered in his head with fatal results. Mrs Barry rushed ttf her husx band's aid and was also brutally attacked, receiving inluries which are l'hely to be fatal. Rcbbery is supposed to have been the object of the attackers as it is reported that Barry was fairly well-to-do and kept a large sum of money in the house, where he had lived for many years, because he feared to deal I with the banks.
