AUCKLAND, last night. Three people were injured, two seriously, when a motor lorry lbaded with fish capsized over a bank ©n the road between Ruawai an'd Dargaville, near the Toka Toka deviation, into the dry portion of the bed of the Northern Wairoa River, shortly be- ■; fore midnight last night. They were Colin McDonald, aged about 30 years, fisherman, his wife, and their five-year-old child. The three occupants were pinned beneath the vehicle, the parents heing seriously injured. At a late hour this evening they were still unconscious. Fortunately the tide was out, as the spot where the vehicle landed is covered by several feet of water at high tide. The occupants were extracted almost immediately by three men, who were in a car following. The injured people were taken by ambulonce to the Northern Wairoa Hospital. '' 1 jn . —
