LONDON, Sunday. The butter position does not appear very hopeful, for filthough Danish is firm, thanks to the f avourable exchange, there has been a decided falling off in the home demand for Australian and New Zealand. As the arrivals from these countries during December will be considerably larger than last December, and Australian reports mention the continuance of large supplies, impor - ers are inclined to take a somewhat pessimistic view of the outlook. Australian "Kangaroo" butter is being soid at the wholesale pnce of 104s per cwt., and' in some stores is retailed under ls; a lb.
