WORK ON FRENCH SUPER LINER MAY BE STOPPED FOLLOWING CUNARD DECISION

Dec. 15, 1 a.m. PARIS, Monday. ; The suspension of the construction of the giant Cunarder may be followed by the stoppage of work on the super-liner, Isle de France, costing £6,000,000 with which France hopes to regain the Blue Ribbon of the Atlantic. It is now f ound that a further State grant will be necessary to complete the vessel.
