Mitchell secured the best bowling figures for Old Boys by taking 4 wickets for 33. The Albion bowlers found the wicket to their liking and considerable trouble was experienced by Old Boys in scoring off them. Godsalve was the only double figure scorer, his total being a dozen runs, when bowled leg before by Hinton.
Suth'erland, Albion's fast bowler, was bumping dangerously, and ended up with two wickets for five runs off eight overs, five of which were maidens.
