-By Telegraph— Copyright).
ALGIERS, Saturday. An empty rubber hoat washed ashore has been identified as part of the equipment of a French AlgiersMarseilles aeroplane which was j brought down in the Mediterranean ! by engine trouble on Wednesday last. The crew sent a wireless message stating that they had as a precaution ripped the canvas off the wings to prevent the destruction of the plane in the rough sea. These were their last words. Ropes attached to the hoat indicated that they had tied themselves in, but the storm had washed them out.
