APPRECIATION
T. E.
McMILLAN.
(To the Editor). Sir, — Permit me, through your columns, to express, on behalf of Matamata supporters of the Country Party and myself, our appreciation of the absolute fairness displayed by the "Post" in the matter of correspondence during the election fight. Whatever may have been the opinions of the "Post" on the merits of policies, -parties, and candidates, correspondents of all shades were given a full and- fair run, a very pleasing contrast to the treatment meted out by journals which allow their own views to prejudice them against the expression of contrary views. By its impartial attitude in regard to correspondence the "Post" has built up goodwill which must result in mater"al advantage and enhanced prestige. — I am, etc.
Matamata.
