Rec. Dec. 9, 7.0 p.m. SYDNEY, Wednes. There was no play to-day in the cricket match New South Wales v. South Af rica. Heavy rain during the early morning . made the wicket. unfit for play before . lunch. An inspection was to have been made at 2.15 p.m. but. further showers prevented the players fyom taking the field and the match ended in a draw.
