RESEARCH BY DOMINION DOCTOR VALUE AS REJUVENATOR

— By Teiegraph — Copyright.)

LONDON, Friday. Dr. Norman Haire, who is very well known in Australia and New Zear land for his work in connection with hygiene and rejuvenation, stated that the value of a Christchurch doctor's claim to have discovered a wheat oil capable of remedying debility and childlessness depends on the presence of a vitamin with rejuvenating properties. Such is already recognised as existing in wholemeal bread, which has long been prescribed for cases where vitality ahd fertility are low. The discovery may be important in permitting larger quantities of this vitamin to be taken in concentrated form, obviating the necessity for eating several loaves. It is not likely to supersede the Voronoff and Steinach glandular treatments, as the latter give wider and more sustained effects.
