use of funds for political propaganda denied

WELLINGTON, Friday. A rumour which has been circulated in the South Island to the effect that the Post and Telegraph Employees Association had' carried by poll a motion in favour of spending £1000 on propaganda of a political nature and that the money had been used to support Labour candidates was de-ni-ed to-night by the general secretary of the Association, Mr. J. H. McKenzie.
