SEARCH FOR SIMBA

(Press. Assn.-

ringing-in feared by ■ police

— By Telegraph— Copyright).

Kee. Dec. 4, /.oU p.m. SYDNEY, Friday. Detectives are now investigating the disappearance of the racehorse Simba. The are, however, handicapped by the fact that the gelding's disappearance was not reported for five days after he was missed. Nothing has been heard of Simba in racing circles since the- prosecution on August 14 when fines were imposed for understating the horse's value to the Customs Department. Simba has not been registered and has not since raced. The police fear that those who stole the horse intend to race him under an assumed name at some obscure meeting in possibly some other State.
