PARIS, Thursday, One of the most gruesome murders for whibh marital jealousy has beeri respbnsible Is that of a young photographer, Louie Bruriet, who was allegedly th'e lover of Madame Monvault, the wif e of a night watchman. Brunet disappeared ■ several days ago and Monvault, the husband of the woman, i^ reported to have made the statement to the police that he had fulfllled his threat to wrap Brunet in an iron netting, attach an iron weight to his neck and throw him into the Seine. Rene Plisset, a supposed accomplice told a sensa'tional story of the torturirig of Brunet 20 minutes before he was strangled to death with- a towel, Plisset wh'o was handcuffed, guided the police to a spot on the banks df the Seine aiid stood watching while a diver descended and found in the miid Brunet's body, which resembled a grotesque mummy, encased in steel netting.
