LABOUR PLEASED
ENTHU SI ASTIC RECEPTION GIVEN MR. HOLLAND IN WELLINGTON WELLINGTON, last night. Saying that the Labour Party was now definitely in a position of being the alternative Government, the leader of the Labour Party, Mr. H. fe. Holland, who addressed the crowd iffi- ' mediately after the Prime Minister, predicted that probably before the three years were ended the- electors would place the Labour Party on the Treasury Benches. Mr. Holland was given a very enthusiastic reception in sharp co'ntrast to that given to the Prime Minister, and his speech was frequently interrupted hy cheers and applause. Mr Holland assured his audience that Labour would doQ everything possible to j justify the confidence reposed iri it i as demonstrated by the number of adI ditional seats it had gained. ! PANEL
