Rec. Dec. 1, 8.0 p.m. ROME, Monday. The Yatican has learned that Mons. Massino a Russian Orthodox Bishop, was shot on July 6 for refusing to adhere to the Metropolitan Sergius' acknowledgement of the Soviet. Father Romano. Medvid was sentenced to death on a similar charge, but the sentence was commuted to 10 years' imprisonment.
