PROG-RAMME OF EVENTS FOR NEXT EVENINGMEETING. MANAGEMENT GOMMITTEE MEETSv A meeting of the management com,mittee of the Rotorua Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club was held on Wednesday evening, Mr. E. G. Guy ' presiding. J After discussion on the question of a ladies' branch of the club, it was decided that for the 1931-32 season 1 the ladies' and men's clubs be con- I trolled by a 'joint management eom- J mittee and that the whole question be reviewed at the end of that period. j Miss R. Steele was appointed hon. assistant secretary-treasurer of the j club. Miss Garnachan will retain her position as ladies' club eaptain, and Misses Knox and McKibbon were elected as delegates to the management eommittee. The following were' elected honorary members of the club: — Messrs. W. Balbraith, L. J. Balfeild, E. Lister, T. Jackson, J. Moore, H. Kneebone, J. Moule and A. J. Isdale. The next evening sports meeting will be held at the High School ground on Friday, December 4, and the following events will be decided: 100 yards handicap, 75 yards ladies' handicap, 440 yards handicap, one mile, high jump, mixed relay . raee (teams of two ladies and two meh), four laps of 110 yards each. It was decided that if sufficient inducement is offering, a one mile cycle race would be provided, roadster wheels to be used. A post entry race of 100 yards for boys under 16 years will alsb be run. Entries for these events must be in the hands of Mr. A. De Luen, J Hinemoa Sti'eet, not later than noon on Tuesday, December 1. Ngongotaha entries may be handed to Mr. A. J. Isdale. The following sub-committee was appointed to draw up a programme for a special sports meeting to be held on Boxing Day.— Messrs. E. G. Guy, - G. H. Weir, Clarke, F. A. Hayward/ W. S. Henderson and C. J. Casey.
