ACCORDED CIVIC RECEPTION AT STRATFORD OPENS A. AND P. SHOW

STRATFORD, Thursday. Hon. G. W. Forbes arrived to-day. He was accorded a civic reception by the Mayor, Mr. Percy Thomson, and entertained at lunch. Afterwards he opened the A. and P. Show, and then proceeded to New Plymouth to deliver an address. Mr Forbes, who was accompanied by Hon R. Masters, received a splendid reception.
