MR THOMAS TO SEARCH FOR "NEW MAREETS ON TOUR ADVANTAGES FOR DOMINIONS
RUGBY, Tuesday. Answering various questions regarding the methods of developing internal trade, Mr. J. H. Thomas, Secretary of State for the Dominions, in the House of Commons, said that on his tour through the Dominions he would certainly endeavour to find new markets for British goods. j Asked if the Dominions would low- j er their tariffs, he said he hoped to - be in a position to offer certain ad- ; vantages and the Dominions might be expected to reciprocate. The Prime Minister later said the question of the development of Empire trade was 'receiving the Government's consideration, and necessary information was being collected and, examined.
