mr campbell well received by matamata audience

MATAMATA, last night. The largest attendance at any political meeting held during the present election campaign assembled in the Matamata Town Hall on Monday night to hear the Country Party candidate for Rotorua, Mr. D. R. F. Campbell, deliver an address. The speaker was listened to with marked interest throughout, and at the conclusion received a unanimous vote of thanks, confidence not being asked for, by prolonged acclamation. ' The Chairman of the Matamata Town Board, Mr. J. Buchanan, presided.
