(To the Editor.) Sir, — To me the outstanding . feature of Mij. Ransom's fine speech last night -was* its remarkahle similarity to Mr. Yaile's. Exactly the satoe importafit points, were made Economy in Governmfent, land development, ' p'af ticularly of the' pumlands, to counteract unemployment; the importance of - the primary producer; - and- trade within the Empire. I could only detect two points of difference. Mr. Yaile would start the new farmer as our pioneer fathers started, while Mr. Ransom would put him on fully-developed-land with firstclaSs stock.* The other difference was that Mr. Yaile considered our tourist - traffic could hring in a large revenue. : • • " The agreement between the two gentlemen was so remarkahle that one could not help but feel that Mr Ransom may yet find in Mr. Vaile his greatest support.— I am, etc.,
