NELSON CATHEDRAL

Within 12 months the Nelson Cathedral will be sufficiently advanced towards completion to admit of its use as a place of worship, said the Bishop of Nelson, the Rt. Rev. W. C. Sadlier, to a Christchurch Tiipes reporter. "I have heard it said that someone accused me of wicked waste for building a eathedral all in marble from Italy, and I should Iike to make it perfectly clear that everything used in the eonstruction of the building has come from the Nelson distriet," the B?shop added. He said he was pioud to think that, in spite of the distress occasioned by the Murchison earthquake and general financial diffi-' culties, work on the eathedral had never stopped since the first sod was cut.
