I CALCUTTA, Tuesday. Calcutta is suffering from an epidemic of malignant malaria as the result of an advance on the city of mosquitos from the Malay peninsula. Hundreds of cases have been ad- ; mitted to the hospital in the past ; week. So serious has the matter become that a deputation &'f heads of firms waited on Sir F. S. Jackson, Governor of the Province to urge- immediate measures to stem the advance of the disease as whole staffs are incapI acitated.
