— By Telegraph — Copyright.)
Rec. Nov. 12, 9.15 p.m. LONDON, Thursday. Mr. Henry Charles Swan, whose death occurred at Henderson, New Zealand, was well known on Tyneside. He was a partner in the Newcastle firm of Arnott, Swan and Walker, founded by his uncle a century ago and which still exists. Before going to New Zealand, Mr. Swan started a small fruit farm in Northumberland. The New-castle solicitor who is managing his affairs states that though Mr. Swan was comfortably off, the estate does not approach £250,000 as has been reported.
