COMMUNIST NEWSPAPER'S STORY OF TROUBLE IN AUSTRALIA TIME OF BRITISH INCIDENT

Under a page-wide heading "The Australian Fleet also Mutinied," the Communist newspaper "Daily Worker," whose title line is adorned with a sickle and a hammer republishes a Sydney story of a mutiny on ships of the Royal Australian Navy at Western Port, Victoria, simultaneously with the Invergordon trouble. Among the incidents mentioned is the hoisting of a red flag over a white ensign reversed. Numerous foreign correspondjonts inquired from Australia PjBbuse whether the story was ^ptfue, but was informed that B nothing was known of it.
