CAR HITS BANK IN CUTTING NEAR FAIRY SPRINGS • An accident which resulted in fouf Maoris receiving inj.uries necessitating their removal to hospital occurired in a cutting beyond Fairy Springfe shortly before 5.30 o'clock on Saturday night. Apparently the car left the. road as it was negotiating the cutting and after strikirig "tKe bank on one side with considerable f orce shot across tb the other side where it came to rest. The shock of the impact resulted in all four occupants receiving cuts and bruises. The ^mbulanee was summoned from Rotorua and the four men 'were taken to King George V. Hospital. After medical attention had been given they were able to leave. The car was badly damaged.
