— By Telegraph — Copyright.)
Rec. Nov. 6, 9.30 p.m. LONDON, Friday. The "Morning Post" tells a story of a man on holiday in England under contract to sail for a Dominion to fill a highlypaid permanent post, and who decided to become a candidate in the General Election merely for the sake of the experience. He did not think that he had the least chance of heing elected, but to his horror was returned by a huge majority. He now finds himself faced with the dilemma of not being able to confess to his constituents that he was not in earnest and he has flecided to sacrifice the job and carry on as a member of the House of Commons.
