N.S.W. APPEAL

(Press Assn. —

BRITISH GOVERNMENT TO BE REPRESENTED AT PRIVY COUNCIL

By Telegraph — Copyright.)

Rec- Nov 5, 5.5 p.m: LONDON, Wednesday. Although Sir W. A, Jowitt has not a seat in the House of Commons, it is practically certain that he will re^ main Attorney-General, and will appear in the Privy Council in the New South Wales appeal. It is officially explained that Sir W. A. Jowitt's intervention does not mean that the British Government is taking sides, but it is desirable that he should be present as the Privy Council wish to hear his views on the Constitutional issues affecting Great Britain and the Dominions Office.
