TOO FOND OF GETTING HIS • NAME INTO PRINT REFUSAL OF OFFER APPROVED

-By Telegraph — O -pyrlght).

Rec. Nov. 4, 5.5 p.m. LONDON, Tuesday. Lord Tennyson, speaking at a cricket club' dmmer, said that Bon Bradman was perfectly right in refusing the offer of the Accrington Club. Though Bradman was one of the finest.batsmen in tbe world, he had a great deal to learn. He was not in the same class as Trumper, Hill and others, and had not half the strokes of Hobbs, Wooley and Sutcliffe.
