Rec. No. 4, 11.15 p.m. SYDNEY, Tuesday. The Lang Government has been advised by cablegram from London that the British Government intends to intervene in the Privy Council appeal respecting the abolition of the New South Wales Legislative Council, which it is believed will be heard this month. It is understood that the British Government desires to be represented in order to watch constitutional aspects.
