CHANGED ITINERARY

(Press Assn.—

SOUTH AFRICAN CRICKETERS' TOUR MAY BE ALTERED

-By Telegraph — Copyright.)

SYDNEY, Tuesday. The South African cricketers' itinerary may have to be drastically changed owing to the steamer Themistocles, on which they intend proceeding home, sailing a fortnight earlier than previously scheduled. There w:ll be no other steamer for a month, and the date of the Fifth Test match may have to be brought forward if the shipping company refuses to adhere to its original date of sailing. An alternative suggestion is that the New Zealand Association be approached to arrange three matches for the Springboks in order that they may be able to fill in the time while awaiting a convenient ship. Failing this the Tasmanian tour will be curtailed.
