AUCKLAND, Monday. C. S. Dempster, the New Zealand batsman was presented with a replica luncheon to-day to the New Zealand of the Redpath Cup at the offieial cricketers. Mr Reese said that this was the third occasion on which Dempster had won the trophy. "This cup is given for the best batsman in New Zealand for a particular season and on this occasion I think I can safely say the presentation is for the best batsman we have ever had in New Zealand," added Mr. Reese.
