AMSTERDAM, Sat. A diabolical murder was revealed when a slate contractor was sentenced to life for pushing a workman from a steeple of an Amsterdam church. The contractor insured the man for £5,000, and when he fell on March, 29, 1929, he collected the money. A year passed before suspicion was aroused. Then he was arrested, and has now been convicted of thrusting the workman from the steeple in order to collect the insurance.
