CAUSES CONSTERNATION IN CANADA

(Press Assn.-

AORANGI AND NIAGARA

-By Telegraph — Copyright.)

Rec. Oct. 30, 7.10 p.m. VANCOUVER, Thursday. Consternation is expressed here at the attempt to 'hold up the mail liners Aorangi and Niagara, as Canada is holding an Australian "Goodwill Week." Any attempt to interfere with the Aorangi and Niagara will surely be accompanied here by the demand that the crews be placed on Canadian articles. Canada, with greatly increasing world trade, has not had a serious shippingiiold-up in living memory and the people are unable to appreciate hindrance to the expeditious carriage of passengers, mails and freights exactly to schedule.
