Rec. Oct. 27, 7.0 p.m. LONDON, Tuesday. Mr. Arthur Henderson remained in bed to-day, polling day. His opponent, Admiral Campbell, V.C., was his first visitor this morning. Other eandidates out of the fight are Mr. Trevelyan, Labour, who is contesting Everton, and who became suddenly ill while addressing a meeting last night. He was operated on for appendicitis at 4 o'clock this morning, and Mr. Flanagan, a Communist contesting the Gorton Division at Manchester, who has been imprisoned for participation in unemployed disturbances, and whom the Home Seeretary refused to release. Mr. Paul Latham, Conservative candidate for Scarborough, now fights as a baronet, his father, Sir Thomas Latham, having died to-day.
