AUSTRALIAN COASTAL SHIPS LEAVING PORTS UNION OPPOSITION GROWS

SYDNEY, Monday. Developments at the week-end indicate that the shipping strike is collapsing. The union's opposition to the strike continnes in other States, and is growing in Sydney. Two ships left Newcastle yesterday, and only two inter-Siate vessels now remain in port, while in Brishane all coastal and interState ships departed without incident.
