Secret inquiries by Federal investigators have disclosed that the sHpping strike is the first of a series of transport stoppages which has been planned by the Australfan Communist International, under instructions from Moscow. These are, firstly, ' to capture control of the uniops by working quietly amongst the rank and file, and secondly, to disorganise key industries at every sign of a move toward eapitalist rehabilitation. It is stated that although the Federal Government has always opposed the Crimes Act, yet it will be promptly applied if an occasion arises out of violence and intimidation by the strikers or the strike promoters.
