Wills, in commenting on the passage of the Empowering Bill. Negotiations are proeeeding with several firms, and a representative of Messrs Dorman, Long and Co., who had been in England eonferring with his co-directors on the financing of the scheme, would return to Auckland about mid-Deeember. "We expect that the work of building the bridge will start early next year," said Mr. Wills.
