— By Telegraph — Copyright.)
Rec. Oct. 22, 7.0 p.m. LONDON, Thursday. All Ireland is discussing the banning of the twelve associations, some of whose names have surprised the public as they have been working so secretly that their existence was little ltnown. The banning has been a great blow to the organisers, who believed their true activities were unsuspected, including the promoters of the Fianna Eireann, which is composed of Republican Boy Scouts. The civil guard has now been reinforced by a plain-clothes flying squad, which is being held in readiness for any emergency. The following organisations have been deelared illegal: — Saor Eire, otherwise Ira Oglaich na Eirann; Fanna Irann; Cumann na'Mban other wise the Women's League of Friends of Soviet Russia; the Labour Defence League; the Workers' Defence Corps; the Women Prisoners' Defence League; the Workers' Revolutionary Party; the Irish Tribute League; the Working Fafrmers'' Committee ^ the Workers' Research Bureau.
