ST. MICHAEL'S CLUB OPENING The offieial opening of St. Michel's Tennis Club took place on Sunday afternoon under ideal weather conditions. The Rev. Father J. U. Spierings briefly welcomed those present and formally declared the courts open for play.
| Time did not permit the finalising of the progressive tournament as no less than 60 players were taking part. A dainty afternoon tea was served to the players and visitors by the committee of the club. As the courts have been freshly s.prayed and are in great playing condition it is anticipated that the season will be more suceessful than any previously experienced.
