The "Observer's" financial editor hdvocates the sterling as an Empire currency, and suggests that Empire nations should meet and elaborate a common policy with currency having a single stan'dard «cf application throughout the Empire. "We would then be a solid rock amid the world's struggling currencies," he savs.
