Rec. Oct. 18. 5.5 p.m. VIENNA, Saturday. A Hungarian merchant named Sylvester Matuschke, has been arrested in connection with the wrecking of the Budapest express on September 12. It is reported that he confessed also to wrecking the Basle-Berlin express on October 10 and the attempted wrecking of the Austrian express last winter. Matuschke says he has perpetrated all the outrages alone. He had planned similar attempts in the near future on lines near Amsterdam, Paris, Marseilles, and Ventimiglia. The police believe that the confession is reliable. The man - is not a communist but his mental condi^ion may he examined.
