VISITTO DOMINION ANXIOUS TO TOUR N.Z. WlTH AUSTRALIAN TEAM NEGOTIATIONS OPENED

AUCKLAND, Thursday. Provided satisfactory arrangements can he made, New Zealand will see Don Bradman in action towards the close of the coming cricket season. Bradman is very anxious to bring a tearn from Australia to make a tour of the Dominion. With this end in view he has asked a friend, Mr R. Gillam, who is visiting Auckland with the Eastern Suburbs Rugby League team, to make inquiries with a view to bringing this object to finality and Mr Gillam has already been in touch with officials of the Auckland Cricket Association. If the tour eventuates the Australian team, besides Bradman, will probably include six other internationals. The consent of the Board of Control in Australia and of the New Zealand Cricket Council will be necessary if the tour is to be undertalcen and it will take place about Easter.
