exteNding reticulation to ngongotaha district APPROYAL RECEIVED Advice was received by ,the Rotorua' C'ouhty Council at' its ift'eeting yesterday that the Tourist Departnieht ha-^ now received- app'r'oval for the extension of 'its electrical reticulatibn ' to 7 the Ngongotaha- district. - When -this- extension was first suggested, the Department could not see its Way ittimediately to give the ex1 tended reticulation reqnired, and a propdsal was' mooted that the extra poWer should he obtained from . the Tauranga Power Board. At the' Septeniher meeting of the council,' Mr H. J. Hardiej district erectrical engineer to the Tourist Department, explaihed soriie aspecfe of ' the positlon-and following: s'ubsequent negotiations - the council -wa's advised hy 'phone at it's meeting yesterday that the' Department has now ;received approval for the necessary extension.
