AUCKLAND, Mondayl "This man is the methylated spirits king, and I think he broke into the place just to get the methylated spirits," said Detective Sergeant Kelly - when Samuel Walker (75), labourer^ was brought before the Police Court this morning. / :* Walker was charged with breaking and entering the premises of Thomas Wadey, Station Road, and stealing three bottles of methylated spirits anl a bottle of varnish, of a total value of 4/9. Walker was remanded to October 15.
