witness one of the most important annual fixtures of the school year and, though the going was not of the b'est and several championship runners were unable to participate owing to the prevailirig influenza, all entrants put up a fine exhibption, - some good times beirig recofded in all div- ' isions. " ' . The standing record for th£-ee_urse however, remained unbrcrlfgn, the fastest time being put up by the intermediate championship winner, A. H-urrell, who completed the 4| miles in 25min. 31secs, wbile H. Painton, another intermediate champion, who set up a record for the junior course last year, returned in- 25min 50sebs. The senior championship was w'on by N. Hinton, in 26min 4 secs, ahd the junior by L. Brooker, who did iJhe 21 miles in 13 min 40secs. The results are as f ollows : — SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP I Hinton, N.
