FIRM TONE IN SYDNEY

Rec. Oct. 7, .40 9p.m. SYDNEY, Wednesday. At the wool sale 12,063 bales were offered and 10,854 sold. In addition, 2,303 bales were disposed of privately. Yorkshire, Japan, and Continental buyers provided good all-round competition. The market was firm on ,last week's level. Greasy Merino made up to 1/3 1.
