Rec. Oct. 7, 8.25 p.m. SYDNEY, Wednesday. The third day of the A.J.C. spring meeting was held at Randwick to-day. The weather was ideal, the track excellent and the attendance good. Phar Lap gave a splendid galloping exhibition in the Craven Plate, winning on the bit, and brealting his own Australian record for the distance. Cynthius quickly took charge and led for a mile, where Phar Lap ran to the front and going on, won hard help by four lengths. Time 2.21, an Australian record.
